PROJECTS THAT SHOULD BE AVOIDED
FIRST AND FOREMOST -- ANY PROJECT IN VIOLATION OF ACSEF, Intel ISEF OR CALIFORNIA EDUCATION RULES AND REGULATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR COMPETITION.
Projects listed below are discouraged from being done unless you can come up with a way to make them unique. Avoid projects that you can easily find the answer to if you do a Google search. ALWAYS***Search the internet for your idea....Goggle it!!!
The following projects most often will be denied. They also do not win awards because they are so commonly encountered by judges or are not logical and lack scientific merit. With frequently done projects, acceptance may be granted if they have an original twist with exceptional thoroughness and solid scientific method
ACSEF does NOT allow any eating or tasting projects by humans UNLESS the humans are the student researcher(s) themselves under strict guidance and permission of the student(s) parent/guardians.
